First lunch out in over 27 weeks and boy did Ayr India come up with the goods. Food was sublime! Popadoms, spiced onions, mango chutney and tandoori dip... Haggis pakora and chicken tikka flatbread... Followed by chicken tikka chasni and lamb Karahi with rice and the best naan I've tasted! Good social distancing and hygiene. Very friendly and attentive service... and as it was our first visit... Complimentary liqueurs of our choice... Bailey's and a Glayva. First time in Ayr India but most certainly not our last. Highly recommended.

From the minute we arrived we noticed the excellent service. The food in my opinion was one of the best Indian meals I’ve ever had. The Manager and staff were first class. A lovely touch giving Isabel a bottle of wine as a birthday gift. We were only down for a weekend but we will definitely make a point of returning to Ayr India.
Great lunchtime meal. Excellently prepared and tasty meals. 10.50 for 3 courses as a lunch time special was a bargain. Healthy portions of superb food. Best that we've eaten for years.
food was not great also naan bread like leather?? Reheated in microwave inedible greatly disappointed. Phoned to complain laughing in background not professional and will not be back.
Food was tasty and staff friendly and attentive. We had a couple of problems: The panner curry had about 7 cubes of panner and a huge amount of sauce which was very disappointing! Staff wearing face visors but as they are stood and you are sat down this makes them completely pointless. One staff member was wearing her mask below her nose. You have to ask staff to use the toilet so they can make sure it’s empty and clean which is good, unfortunately it smelt so strongly of bleach to the point you could taste it. Not good for kids etc. Probably would of had a much better experience before Covid.
