Views scenery beach castle great place to stop /stay enjoy.. The weather was breezy and chilled oddly that didn't detract from our visit. It was a great day out.

Great place to visit, views across to Isle of Arran
If you're doing the coastal path make sure you get the tide right. Also burn flowing into sea was in flood virtually had to enter sea to circumvent aforementioned. Saw Egret. Keep eyes opened for white marker posts, stones. Path up from beach is well maintained steps if rather steep.
Great day of weather and whilst on a day out located this place. Along with other similarly minded people we enjoyed the views. Stopped at the Harbour for a coffee and cake. Lovely bit of the Ayrshire coast.
It was my favourite wee fishing hamlet, used to cycle here in my youth from Troon where I originally stayed many moons ago.
