I just had a lost dental implant replaced with a new crown today at Aylsham Dental Practice. I was made to feel very safe, comfortable and immediately calmed by Mr Patel and his team. There was the necessary covid questionnaire, hand sanitiser and temperature check. The treatment was fully explained and my comfort was checked regularly to ensure I was in no pain. I really could not have received better treatment! I really appreciate the attentiveness and friendliness I was shown by Mr Patel, Lauren and his receptionist. I feel Mr Patel has taken big steps at their own expense to ensure the safety of himself, his staff and his patients during these exceptional times. I thoroughly recommend this dental practice.

After my March 2020 check up I booked my next appointment for the dentist and hygiene with the receptionist for December 2020. When I arrived, I was told that routine appointments are all cancelled. Emergency appointments only. Asked why they didn’t let me know. Was told that there is too many patients to inform them. So why take our email addresses and phone numbers... If we just didn’t turn up, I’m sure the dentist wouldn’t appreciate it. Not everyone lives in Aylsham, people do travel to their appointments, the elderly pay for taxis and it’s just basic customer service to let patients know their appointments have been cancelled. This was in a period when all routine nhs treatment is resumed by NHS England. As I questioned why? The owner wrote to me and said as it was a unscheduled visit (which it wasn’t the receptionist booked me in March for Dec) and hadn’t met my expectations to look for another dentist for my family and I. Would NHS England approve that a whole family taken off as patients at their dentist for raising, that they could do much better with their customer service. No offer of where a formal complaint can be made. I haven’t ever written a bad review on google before, I am still shocked that a NHS service can treat patients this way.
Thank you to all the staff at Aylsham Dental Practice. Absolutely amazing service from very caring staff and makes your treatment comfortable and always checking you are still OK and in no discomfort. I had a crown fitted using the latest technology and could walk away with my new crown the same day, Everything was explained to me what was going to be done. I seriously would not recommend anywhere else but Aylsham Dental Practice as they have your best interests at heart. Thank you to Meetal and all the staff at the practice. The best dentist staff I have had the pleasure to meet.
Mr Patel and the ancillary staff were super professional and ensured all relevant Covid safety precautions were taken. They delivered a great service and they took the time to explain everything to me. I would definitely use them again!
Really lovely, caring, friendly staff. They made and fitted my crown within 45 mins of me sitting down! - what a service (what technology!) 5* service all round
