My husband and I are regular Indian Asian restaurant goers at least once or twice a week. We are both Vegetarian though not vegan will eat vegan food. We both went for Vegetarian Thali a mixture of authentic dishes served on a platter and chose garlic naan as an accompaniment. The flavours were excellent and complimented each other superbly. The portion sizes were more than adequate and the prices reasonable. It was a Sunday evening and we booked but found only one other table in use when we arrived at 8pm and only one other group came in by the time we left around 9:50pm. We don't like boisterous groups around us but there was absolutely no atmosphere but for us the food made up for it. The drinks costs made up a third of our Seventy pound bill for two people. They will happily adapt a meal to your preference the staff were diligent but appeared tired. I will add it to restaurants worthy of a revisit.

Always offering good food and accomodating changes to dishes (and spice heat levels) the prince of India has been our go to Indian for a meal out ever since I was a kid. To be honest the decor has seen better days and is in need of redecorating, but it still has that appeal. On a Sunday with a great lunch banquet offer we tend to go then while the restaurant is quiet too. Worth a visit but please bear in mind the look is a little tired.

I really enjoy the Prince of India. The lamb rogan gosht is the best I've ever had (and I get it everywhere I go)

We had great food and friendly service. The paneer jalfrezi was excellent and also enjoyed the onion bajees, sag aloo and brinjal bajee. The waiter was accommodating and helpful.
