We ordered our meal at 5.15 on Saturday afternoon for delivery & as it's advertised on the website we were expecting our order to be completed in 45 minutes. We thought we had better ring after 1hour 20minutes just to check what was happening & we were informed that there was a tree down, so we said we only live 10 minutes away in the town & the tree came down in the morning on the Honiton road. He said our order was out with the driver so we waited another 40 minutes before ringing again & he said he didn't know where the driver was & he couldn't understand why we hadn't received our meal. Their phone was then taken off the hook but we eventually got through & he said he would deliver his self. The meal arrived after 2.25 hours & we thought at least we would get to eat before we fell asleep, but I'm afraid it was not to be because they had sent out the wrong order. My partner went straight down & said it was the wrong order & the owner said we ordered it wrongly. I don't know if this was the original meal or a second batch that was cooked up, I don't know if they found their driver again. Honestly we have eaten in the restaurant before & the food is superb but you will be there for hours. I do not know where all these excellent reviews come from? but I cannot understand how you can run a business like this but I can assure you we will never use your business again.

I can not describe how utterly delicious our takeaway order from Safar was. Alongside the free poppadoms, a free bottle of Budweiser as well! Within delivery time, although there was an issue FoodHubs side. The food itself was fantastic, very buttery, tender, flavoursome food perfectly cooked. If you are in the area of delivery I would recommend Safar over any other Indian takeaway.
Visiting the area booked a table on line. Well worth the effort. Excellent food with quality ingredients. Friendly but professional service. Good wine list. A real unexpected treat.
