I ordered both the Scallop Platter and a Catfish Filet because I couldn't decide :) the Scallops were AMAZING!! They give you a decent amount of scallops, they are very good; great flavor and the rice and veggies were also great.The Catfish was golden brown to perfection -- It wasn't seasoned much though.

This place has always been one of my favorites. The staff is always fast and friendly. If you like seafood and you like to people watch, this is the place to visit. It isn't very big. The inside is super small but there is adequate seating outside which is covered. The food choices vary from fried seafood baskets which includes a combination of seafood if selected and French fries. They have an honor system. You order your food at a register; eat your food, there will be no ticket given to you by a server. When you are done with your meal, you go to the register near the exit and tell the cashier with you ordered. Talk about trust-please don't cheat the server. The cost is kept down because people are usually honest about their complete order. If you are not into fried foods, there is gumbo and boiled combinations to suit your taste buds. This is a must try place if you are looking for some good seafood. Get there early because finding a parking space close can be a problem on weekends around lunch time.
One of my preferred spots for delicious oysters. I wish there were more places like this around town. The bill was well within reason for the quality.
Aw Shucks never disappoints. From their customer service to their sea food selection you can't go wrong. Thier catfish is always fresh, crispy, and hot!!
