The food is not bad but not very delicious as I imagine when i saw the pictures from the google review. You get what you paid. It is a good place to rest and have late lunch because they seems offer never stop service even in the afternoon.

First restaurant on Avignon and I have to say the other reviews weren't wrong. Price wise you'll be slightly below the average. Everywhere else a main course (like the fish or the duck in the pic) would run you around 22 or slightly above. Here we paid 20 for the duck, 19.50 for the fish and 8 for the escargot. Considering this seems to be more or less the price range in Avignon (I checked another 6-7 restaurants before this one) I can say it was well worth it. The escargot was to die for. The fish was cooked perfectly with what I think was a honey sweet sauce and the duck was basically like a steak: delicious. The staff speaks English just fine, and everyone is super nice and welcoming. Absolutely no complaint whatsoever.

Update: this restaurant was so good that we went for a dinner for a second time within the same week. We had an amazing culinary experience at this restaurant on a Saturday night in early May 2018. We ordered cured/aged meats chacouterie as a starter. Then the main chicken dish (very good) as well as the salmon pasta with vegetables and cream sauce. The pasta was very fresh and the salmon was unbelievable - appropriately seasoned and tastefully smoked and salted. Wine menu was impressive. Also... For dessert we had the pavlova. Oh my god. So good. The pavlova is made with fresh lemon and hard on the outside yet chewy on the inside. Then, it is topped with whipped creme and fresh strawberries. Moreover, the service was very good - warm, friendly, engaging. Would definitely eat here again :)

This boutique restaurant is located at a very secluded section at almost the end of a road. We were very lucky to get a table as reservation (according to the reviews) was highly recommended (if not required)! We were asl very impressed with the tourist-friendliness the staffers were. We ordered pasta of the day and roasted fish of the day. Although the dishes were not awfully sophisticated, we could feel the chef’s dedication and efforts to bring out the freshness and tastiness of each ingredient. One minor point: the ventilation system of the restaurant may need some improvement.

The best food we had in Provence was in this restaurant. Few meals on the menu, big enough to satisfy your hunger. Two out of four days me and my family had a lunch here. Great main courses, wine and desserts. Staff was very polite and friendly. There is a cat walking around as well. Would definitely go back if I ever happened to find myself in Avignon.

The seafood here is super fresh! We ordered these 2 dishes and both are so delicious. This is the best meal we had in France after 5 days!
