After a few misses, we were hoping to find a great place for dinner while in Avignon...and we definitely found that at Art'e Gusto! The owner was friendly when we walked in, and sat us immediately. We absolutely loved our waiter, he was also very friendly, and attentive.

You pay for the location. There was nothing wrong with our food but given that it was quite expensive it wasn't special either . 14 for a small cesar salad was a bit hefty.

My wife had a rapturous experience a cuttlefish salad while I enjoyed a perfectly cooked thin crust pizza with local chèvre, honey, rocket, and olive oil. We sat surrounded by locals who were enjoying a Monday holiday. Service was friendly and efficient.
