We visted the Avalon Pub directly when it opened at 6:30 pm which we would recomend doing because then you can sit at one of the arcade tables and play old Nintendo games while you eat and drink. They have a huge selection of different games, including pac man, kirby, Mario and so on. The food and the drinks were okay eventhough they were on the more expensive side. To play the VR you have to put your name in a list and wait your turn (which depends on how long the people before you play). We didn't stay that long because we had to leave the city early the next day and couldn't try the VR because there were to many people in the list before us, which we thought was a real shame :/ Other than that the staff was nice and could speak semi good english, but they didn't have an english menu and our waitress didn't translate the menu for us or explain what they serve eventhough we asked her. All in all definitely worth to viste if you are into playing old video games.

Great ambiance, marvelous waiter, awesome food and service. Retro gaming tables upstairs, VR gaming downstairs. Note that you need to be eating to get alcoholic drinks (it is a restaurant).
I went there with my girlfriend to play some videogames and have a couple of beers but it turns out you can’t order alcohol without food and the kitchen was closed at the time. Still, good ambiance and infinite games. Would love to go on a trivia night!
Good food (burgers and salads), cheap way to play VR games solo or with friends. Very nice staff. Great retro atmosphere.
Excellent evenings entertainment! Good beer, great burgers, VR setup was top notch - no lag, very immersive. Too bad we couldn't have stayed longer.
