I had gone to AAA for years for registration and title transfer because it was convenient and faster than DMV. My wife and I purchased a car from friends a year and a half ago. For whatever reason, the car failed the smog test which caused a domino effect of issues. For one, the title would not transfer according to AAA. Thank to covid-19 this issue lingered for months. We finally got the car to pass smog. Went back to AAA & found out we needed more paperwork. Headed back to AAA with updated paperwork when they were going to have me wait outside for over 2 hours. Fortunate that happened because it forced me to seek an an alternate to deal with this mess. Found AV Vehicle Registration on a Google search. Called to confirm they were open. A human answered the phone! I came to their location an hour later. No waiting! Went right into an office, sat down and watched the magic happen. They found the issue with the paperwork AAA rejected (typo of all things). Corrected all the info, singed a few papers, paid the fees and I had my 2021 tags as well as finally owning the car according to the State of california. Everything was done in about 30 minutes while waiting in a comfortable office. I would still be waiting 1 1/2 more hours outside had I gone back to AAA. Also found out they handle legal docs, which the owner should update their GMB page accordingly. Staff was fantastic. Office was clean and Covid-19 safe. Absolutely recommend going here. Well worth the small fee to get it done right while waiting in a comfortable friendly environment. Thank you!

Used this place 2 times for title transfer, first time was great but was an easy transfer I had the title, second time was with lein sale paperwork. Went in Oct 29 paid for everything all paperwork was in order and was told transaction would be completed the following week. My tags were expiring Nov 14 was told the transfer would be done before then and paperwork would be mailed to me. Never called me I had to call them after waiting that whole week, I ended up having to go in and pay them another 30 on November 20th wouldn't tell me why exactly but I know it was because registration was 30 more from not being paid on time, was told it would be done the following week. Finally get a call after my persistent calls to them saying registration was ready but now its the beginning of December. Think twice before using this company, I waited to leave this review until today when my title arrived in the mail and everything was finalized. Wish I just went to the dmv and handled myself not worth the 55 dollar fee to use their service and it ended up costing me an additional 30 for them not paying my tags on time went in 2 weeks before they were due.

Registered my car with them and waited 2 months for my title called the DMV and AV Registration got the address wrong I also checked the registration card they gave me and it was one number off. Called and they said to go online and do a change of address for the car and that they will send me new documents. Come to find out the DMV just updates it in there system and they do not send new documents so now I have to print out a new title request and take it to a notary. In the end I'll be taking more of my time to do what I paid them to do.
