Just purchased a Toyota RAV4 from Autopoint and am delighted. Unable to visit the premises the car was bought unseen but exceeds my expectations. Tony was very helpful and I felt complete confidence in proceeding with the purchase. Everything was done on schedule as promised. Looking on the website I viewed most of the cars available for sale and previously sold, just out of curiosity, and could see there seems to be an emphasis on quality throughout the vehicles for sale. I purchased a Jeep from Autopoint in Stansted in Sept 2020. The car itself was in great condition and came with a new MOT. Since then the service has been amazing, just a couple small issues to sort and on both occasions the service has been amazing (even collecting my car and delivering back to me). Arrived and had no interest from salesman, it was raining and told to look at the car as the weather was rain all day. No test drive. Car was listed as stunning but was just an average used car but not “stunning” as seller described, wasted a 200 mile drive and 4 hours with an arrogant salesman with an over priced car. In fact the vehicle actually had 4 door dents on the passenger side, 1 bad cigarette burn on the rear seat, one very small, a cigarette burn on the boot cover, scratches through to the primer on the tailgate, 3 badly marked alloy wheels, a timing belt that needed to be replaced, apparently at a 50/50 cost, the sales man was made aware of this so the facts of his response are very confusing. The offer made on the vehicle was made correct to book price and reflected the non “stunning” condition that was listed. An offer of 1000 less than the asking price was made, so yet more confusing facts from Autopoint. Take what you want from this review. A following 2 week update for this review, yet again more confusing facts from Autopoint. Apparently the vehicle sold at full price after my viewing yet the Subaru Legacy Estate is still listed on the Autopoint website and all the independents.
