Recently moved here from out of state and was hoping to find a good team office for the ongoing care of my son's Type 1 Diabetes. So far, so good! We were able to get an in-person appointment with a very kind practitioner, our new prescriptions were written correctly and right away and everyone was quite pleasant. Looking forward to building an ongoing relationship to help my son in the care of this awful disease. Thanks Texas Diabetes

I’ve had a really good experience with Dr. Chaicha-Brom at the South Austin location. She is friendly, knowledgeable, and very willing to answer questions and make sure you understand your current situation and treatment options. I would recommend her to anyone seeking a thyroid specialist. The office staff has been nothing but friendly and helpful as well, by the way!

My TRS medical insurance changed from Humana to United for 2021. Although I checked with United how it would affect this provider, and they said they were considered in network and I would only have to pay my usual copay, the front office insisted that they DO NOT bill United and considered me uninsured. Being retired I can't afford to pay hundreds of out of pocket at each visit and will have to look for new doctors to help me treat my diabetes. So sorry that your practice is so inflexible!

Dr. Casaubon performed a thyroidectomy due to papillary thyroid cancer in April, 2007; since that time he has monitored to ensure no return, and also treats me for other issues. My wife has also been his patient since 2008, and we both consider him an excellent, caring physician. Our annual visits are professional, yet personal, and we each see one of his excellent PAs once a year. My lengthy medical history gives me, perhaps, a different perspective, but I consider his office staff to be at least as efficient as the many others I deal with. Don't let that concern stand in your way of getting excellent medical care at Texas Diabetes and Endocrinology.
