I have Been wanting to visit Lin forever and so glad I finally made it. Everything was delicious and the service was wonderful. The soup dumplings were scrumptious and I could have eaten an entire order by myself. Next time...

I've been loving this chef's cuisine since they were part of Wu Chow (still a great restaurant too!). If you are coming here for the first time, you MUST try the steamed pork dumplings! They are simply the best I've ever had anywhere! And I don't even normally eat pork, but I make an exception for this... There is a seafood dumpling that isn't as good and is just one giant dumpling. Lin's is a small venue and very popular to those in the know, so reservations are strongly encouraged. I also do NOT recommend parties of more than FOUR (4), as again, small venue. Their house drinks are adventurous and I recommend trying one before falling back on your own signature drink. Bartenders are good enough to make crafted cocktails, on or off menu. Great place to impress and make a memory on a date
Was so excited to finally try this place out! Made a reservation this past week as friends recommended the food and atmosphere. We showed up for our reservation, they told us we would be sat shortly, and we WEREN’T SAT UNTIL OVER AN HR LATER. How crazy is that? The host (blonde male) wouldn’t even make eye contact with us, as he continued to tell us it would just be a minute or two. We were starving, and there were no apologies by the time we were sat (past 9pm). The food was amazing which was great, but from the hostess to the waiter, and zero care for any reservation that was made, I doubt we would come back anytime soon. Disappointed to say the least.
Food is great but their service quality needs much improvement. We made a reservation for 4 as we were hosting friends from out of town and booked a table outside for obvious reasons. This was our experience: 1) our booking was during Valentine’s Day (unseasonably cold) so we called ahead about 3 hours in advance to make sure they were going to be open. They confirmed business as usual so we stuck to our plans. 2) about an hour and fifteen minutes before our reservation, we get a call saying that they’re closing at the time of our booking so we should either cancel or get to the restaurant immediately. We don’t have back-up plans so we head out there. 3) we arrive to the restaurant to find that not only were they not seating people outside, but they have us seat at the bar facing the kitchen. So we end up ordering takeout and heading back to the hotel. No apologies were made and we just felt like we were played when we were trying to support a restaurant we like. Plus servers were unnecessarily rude because we decided to get takeout instead Definitely not a pleasant experience when we basically had to pay about 60 in Uber fare to get takeout plus we left a nice tip anyway.
Honestly just a real great experience! The dumplings feel rustic but modern in taste and the atmosphere is great. I plan on redoing my review soon with a full take but as of now just go there you will not regret it.
