Beat the absurd long lines at the court house, come here to the family-owned Fry Auto Title. I've been going there for into 3 decades, old location and now newer one. Courteous, professional, free advice, less misery. I also have to comment on someone claiming they \went to another auto title service\ because they were butt hurt. Really? There aren't any more. This is a one of a kind in Austin. So that mad review below is bogus.

I like this place. You will too if you do your research first, and make sure you have all your paperwork in order, prior to showing up. The lines are usually long. You'll have to wait an hour or so. But that's still better wait time then the DMV. The office manager is nice and really knows what she's doing. But seriously make sure you have all the documents you need before showing up. Don't waste your time. Just get on the computer and figure it out. Everything will go great if you come prepared. That being said I highly recommend this place!

I loved this place. I needed a handicap placard; my doctor refer them. There was no wait and staff was very friendly. Save a stop at the DPS which would have taken longer.
