Was there as a visitor for a memorial service for a friend. The service was nice. I found myself observing how nice the building and grounds we're, for an order building. There were lots of trees and flowers and birds. There was a sign, specifically announcing the church as a sanctuary site to all, except ICE.

Inclusive group of nice people, great place to learn things on how to be a better person, programs for children and teens are great.

The First UU of Austin is my destination when I need inspiration, when I am hungry for intelligent topics to grow with, I go for fellowship, friendship, spiritual reminders, and the music, and the art exhibits, educational opportunities, performance of theatre, yoga, and the celebrations without prejudice.

I joined the high school youth group the summer before my freshman year and it's one of the best choices I've ever made. There is such an amazing community in this church and so much room for personal growth.

I'm a UU and was visiting Austin so stopped in for service. What a wonderful, vibrant congregation. The service was seamless, very powerful in its theme and emotional very moving. The music was extraordinary. Had the chance to talk with so many good souls. What a wonderful congregation - can't wait to visit again.
