This was our 2nd time experiencing the wonderful care and dedicated staff with Children's Urology. Dr. Cortez did a great job at explaining the procedure in a way that I could understand and he has a pure calming effect. They also supported my strange requests and during a visit when I took all 3 kids and one had a melt down one of the other doctors helped me out of the office by holding the baby and bag while I tended to the melt down. This is truly a superior group of caring doctors.

Dr. Cortez was my childhood urologist, I'm am now 30 years old and wishing he was not only a pediatric urologist but adult urologist as well. He is by far one of the best urologists you will find!

Dr Cortez is an amazing doctor. He is very attentive,thorough and shows genuine interest in patient well-being. After a five months stay in the NICU our daughters primary care nurse did tell us that he was a very good doctor. . . He is amazing!. He is one of the only specialist our daughter felt comfortable with. He explains everything, shows the labs, x rays asked about other specialists visits etc. Dr Cortez you are a great Doctor!

Dr. Cortez is AMAZING! Not only was he wonderful in explaining my son's hypospadias at previous appointments, he did a great job doing a hypospadias repair today - which is a pretty big surgery. I am a mom, and we worry, so tonight (or early this morning, rather) when my son was inconsolable I called the after hours number and Dr. Cortez called me right back. He walked me through what to do to make him feel better, and for that I am grateful! Sincerely, Amy
