My son came to the ER because of a leg injury. They got us checked in and back to a room quickly. The x-Ray tech was in quickly. Doctors did thorough assessments, answered our questions, and were genuinely kind. My son did break his leg and they splinted it and gave us clear discharge instructions. We were able to easily make an appointment for his casting. All the medical professionals we interacted with were really great. I trust them to care for my child.

I am a 17 year old make a wish kids who has been dealing with multiple diagnosis one including recurrent Dvt’s and a Pulmonary embolism all my life. I have been in and out of dell children’s plenty of times during the course of my life and few has changed. The patient experience has been horrible for me. I can account maybe one or two great visits for my entire life . The staff have horrible attitudes, don’t do a good job at listening to the patients complaints and needs, Don’t do a efficient job,and are only looking for facial expressions to make a decision if they believe you or not. Dealing with medical complications I have become a tough cookie who smiles through pain and will have a straight face all when having a PE ! Doctors look at me and assume I’m not hurting and will disregard my concerns, all for them to be wrong. Everyone doesn’t follow the textbook. Every child deserves to be listened to and have their medical needs met . This is what you should strive to do as a medical provider, not just getting through the day. I am happy to not have to come here after I’m 18 in just a few months. I highly recommend children who have a significant history and want to be seen with good care go to Texas children’s .

Emergency room is a joke. I had to wait with the gran baby over 3 hrs. Please hire more staff. It seems that most of the employees are mad that they have to work. They dont seem genuine or like they enjoy their job. Dont like it? Get a job that you enjoy. Life gets better when you do what you like. That's my two cents.
