Went to this facility for my first hearing exam. The technician was very professional, knowledgeable, and thorough. She patiently explained everything about the individual tests and answered all my questions. I could not have asked for better treatment. Wish I could remember her name to give her recognition in this review. Wonderful service.

One of the best locations hand down. Provide excellent customer service and help the fellow Veterans.

Wouldn't recommend if you're ever in a health crisis. Instead of being attentive, creative in resolution and empathetic, they will run you in circles until you're too tired to continue and blame you for it. Just don't do it. You deserve better. Find better healthcare for yourself.

The hospital really isn't that bad .I'm always going there for appointments. I've never really had any problems with staff or waiting too long for blood draws.try leaving your attitude outside the front door when you enter the building. Your encounters may change fast.

Writing the review to the VA Outpatient Clinic was hard for me. It does have some good qualities, but unfortunately those qualities are overshadowed by the warts that cover the facility. I'll start with the positive things about this clinic. The building is pretty new. A majority of the facility looks beautiful, clean, and modern. The front desk staff are also quite helpful in pointing you out to your destination. Some employees at the VA generally seem to want to help you out. Now for the warts. So unfortunately, this outpatient facility is not really in a good location if you are central or North Austin. I live in the NW Austin area, and it takes 30 minutes each way to get there. Also, and more importantly, the primary care physician I had here (Dr. Argun) was terrible. I dealt with him probably around 6-12 times and he always projected the aura of not wanting to help. He was my first true awful experience with the Veteran Affairs which is unfortunate. My second experience with a doctor here was not much better. Dr. Jakkula examined me here and she was extremely rude to me and acted as if I should have inherently known things that only people in the medical profession would know. Also, as with most VA's, the wait for many of the appointments is excruciating. I sure hope there are better VA's out there than what Austin has to offer.
