5th Street Commons has been a great place to call home! It is far enough away from the hustle and bustle and noise of downtown, but it's close enough to walk and enjoy anything happening. The staff is amazing, and the apartments are perfect!

Amazing front end staff. Emily gave me a great tour of the property during my first visit and she and Carla went above and beyond to make my move-in process easy and comfortable. The community is in a super ideal location, it's right next to the freeway, downtown area and near a great restaurants and bar scene. Up to this point, very friendly people, well maintained and quality building, and warm atmosphere.
The building and location are the only good things about living here. The management is absolutely terrible and the amenities are an afterthought. They don’t provide regular maintenance and residents are forced to replace their own lightbulbs and filters, which I’m not even sure is really allowed. Obviously there are a few nice people who work in the leasing office downstairs but overall, they make sure you know they are a leasing office and they’re not there to take care of people who are already locked into leases. Absolutely not renewing our lease when it comes up and it’s 100% due to the management. We will regret leaving this location. It used to be better (or at least not noticeably awful), not sure what changed with the management approach within the last year or so. Edit in response to their reply: I've only posted this review after doing my best to resolve issues with them privately. My name is obvious from this review so if they were actually interested in resolving things, they would have reached out to me directly instead of posting that.
This is the best place to stay at Austin. Prices are affordable, apartments are clean and cosy, and neighbors are so kind. Many kudos to Georgia and Reale for being so patient with me and my administrative details. If you want a calm and comfortable place to live 5th Street Commons is the place for you!
Absolutely love this apartment complex! The location is perfect on the edge of downtown, great walkable neighborhood full of cute restaurants and bars & the office and maintenance staff are friendly are attentive. Couldn’t have asked for a better apartment or community !!
