Dr. Eilert has been my foot and ankle doctor and surgeon since I was a baby. Born with severe club feet, Dr. Eilert gave my family and I a less invasive second opinion that we have never regretted. I've had 4 surgeries with Eilert as I've grown up, 3 in which he was my surgeon and 1 in which he was advising. All 4 have been incredibly successful. His bedside manner is and always will be incredible. Every doctor who gets to his level of practice is SMART, but Eilert is also kind and understanding. He has always been patient, funny, and compassionate, which is rare in a surgeon. I'm currently 24 and I play soccer and swim competitively, and though I won't be a long distance runner anytime soon, my feet do not slow me down. My family and I have a special admiration for Children's Hospital & Doctor Eilert. I absolutely recommend Dr. Eilert and would give him 10 stars if I could.

This man misread an MRI on my son's back about a week ago and gave us a diagnosis that was wholly untrue. His delivery sucked so bad that we called and got a second opinion. This man's diagnosis was then refuted by very respected 5280 Top Doc from Rocky Mountain Youth Sports Orthopedics. Not only did he misread this diagnosis, but he was very blunt and gruff about the way he delivered the news. Basically he told my son he had a stress fracture in his L5 Vertabrae effectively ending his football career. Upon second opinion from the other doctor, the MRI picture he showed my son was not even of the L5, and was there was no stress fracture at all. Not only did Eilert misdiagnose, but he was very convincing in his delivery to the point now where my son is afraid to play out his senior year, despite the second opinion. This guy is a quack and you should not see him. Kicking myself for taking my son to see him. If I could give him 0 stars I would.

My daughter had fibular hemimelia and a lot of the amputation research we found was done by Dr. Eilert. He was able to do a great job in the surgery. Eleven years later I am thankful everyday for what he has done for my daughter.

Dr Eilert has been my daughter's orthopedic for five years now, and we are very pleased with his care. He has a conservative approach to treatment and makes every effort to avoid unnecessary procedures. He has always had a great rapport with our now-12 year old, and we trust his advice (as does our pediatrician).
