I went there to learn Respiratory Therapy and have had no problems finding jobs. The clinical experience was especially great, as were all the instructors (with one exception). It did change my life.

Before coming to this school, I was shocked with some of the reviews that were rated as 1 because maybe these students probably had a bad experience in the past but I had the best experience when coming to this school because I have achieved more here than any other colleges that I have been to. The last college that I went to was a bad experience for me because over there they didn’t really care about my goals and my hard work didn’t pay off but coming to this school has changed that for me. I know Concorde is expensive but I recommend it because it’s a good school. I got started with the DA program here and graduated and got a job. It has been such a great experience because the admissions, teachers, and staff are awesome here. My admissions is awesome. She has been guiding me to the right directions, the teachers had pushed me to do better, and the student services has helped me find a job after I completed my DA program here. That’s what I have achieved in this school and now my next step is to get into the DH program because that’s my long term goal and I consider Concorde as my home. They care and they are there for you and they fight so hard to help you achieve your goals. My only tip would be to keep in touch with them to make sure if there’s any changes or not because things can change and to not give up on your goals. This school has taught me how to think positive and has a positive reinforcement. So this school has been a blessing to me!

I went to this school 8 years ago so hopefully things have changed. One of my biggest complaints is the main teacher we had wouldn't allow for questions while reviewing tests. She would always assume you were arguing with her about the answer. We tried to explain to her several times we asked questions because we wanted to know why that answer was more correct than our answer. We even complained to her boss with no result. Wasn't that the time to ask questions? Another complaint was that I received a call one day asking me to come in to speak to this teacher and her boss. I was accused of cheating. They asked for all my study material. Noted I never once received a 100% on any exam and I spent every min at home studying. I also passed the nclex on the first try with 75 questions almost 4 years after graduating. Luckily I have common sense. They had no evidence showing I was cheating and refused to explain why they thought I was. They threatened to have me removed from school without a refund of my tuition. My tuition was paid by the GI bill. I spoke to an attorney who said that was illegal. I threatened to sue given they had nothing; they dropped this quickly. I never once cheated, it wouldn't have benefited me when it came to the nclex but they didn't get that. Not sure to this day where this accusation came from.

I do not recommend this school as there are many things that I was not made aware until starting classes. For example, with respiratory studies you rarely use your books and are charged 500 for them. You can return them within the first week only. I WOULD. The respiratory staff is amazing though, the only good thing about this college. One of the reoccurring problems I experienced as a student and months after is communicating with the staff. You have to rely on specific people to receive information or forms. I needed my unofficial transcripts and was transferred from person to person, each either being out of the office for long periods of time, simply not answering their phones, or going straight to voicemail. This happens each and every time I call. It is very frustrating. Even when enrolling, the process was stressful. For the RT program the semesters are 2 months each varying between 3 to 5 days a week 8am-3pm, PLUS clinical hours. Its accelerated so they jam everything together. If you have kids or a job you can kiss them good bye until you graduate. Save yourself some time, money and headaches and go to a normal college where you can view and access your information on your own. This college does not do random drug tests and lets anyone who cant count to 5 in, even if they don't understand the material. No competition. So there's that.
