Great place for both children and adults. Both the aquarium tour and the show with birds are thrilling - do not miss the only guided tour at 11am for the aquarium, the guide is passionate and interesting.

Very enjoyable. Set in the cute \sea-side\ village of Audierne,this was better than I had expected. First off, there are the birds on display (yes - I know that this is an \aqua show\ but I'll get to that in a minute) where you can see (and learn about) the white-tailed Eagle, the bald Eagle, the snowy owl (amongst others). Then there is the aquarium which has some amazing displays of fish and other deep sea creatures. As well as being jaw dropping incredible to look at, its also very educational. There is also a \petting pool\ where you (and children) get to touch, and handle, starfish, rays , and other oddities. Then there is the \show\. This is actually a bird show where the birds are shown and perform their feats right over your head. And these are the large birds such as the aforementioned bald Eagle. This is quite amazing, and very enjoyable. (Be warned - while the speal is very educational and entertaining, it is only in French.) All in all, a great outing for a family. (TIP - in camping grounds, etc, you can find the Aquashow pamphlet that includes a voucher for free entry for a child.)
Great bird show and some fantastic sea life...
Not the largest aquarium, but includes an excellent bird show. Great for all ages, but the show amphitheatre is a real sun trap, so don't forget to take sun screen. For those who don't know the area, Audiern is a stunning costal town which is a 'must visit' location.
Well worth a visit
Lovely aquarium. The bird show was especially good, with cormorants and a very friendly egret. Nice to see more than just the usual birds of prey. Cafe was excellent too

Not very big, but well done and especially the bird show (Spectacle d'oiseaux) was very entertaining
