We were happy with the great selection of authentic New Zealand sheepskin and wool products here, and the prices were reasonable, too. One of the best selections of sheepskins and pillow covers, seat covers, etc. that we have seen in the Auckland area (including the fully New Zealand made “Classic” brand (that is probably the best available, in my opinion). The staff was very friendly and helpful, as well as informative. They allowed us plenty of time to look at all of the different sizes, colors, and brands of sheepskins to help us make our decision about the ones that we loved the most. We bought two sheepskins and a pillow cover. They had some items on sale, and we got an additional 5% discount for signing up for their newsletter. They gave us good advice on how to travel safely with our sheepskins and package them properly to take home on our flight. We chose to take ours with us to enjoy during our remaining time in New Zealand, but the store will ship your purchases anywhere in the world for you, if you prefer. Another advantage of shipping your purchase out of country (if you live outside NZ) is that you save paying NZ taxes on your items. I would definitely recommend that you check out this store to get authentic NZ made products, and avoid the cheaper and lower quality sheepskin products that you see in so many of the “touristy” stores.

Very happy with my wife's sheep skin slippers. They aren't cheap but they are made of pure sheep wool and will last. Quality comes first. Have a visit you won't be disappointed.

I ordered a pair of slippers nearly a month ago. They took my money. The slippers didn't arrive. I cut them some slack because of the pandemic. Finally I contacted them only to be told they haven't even made them. Who sells something they haven't made? Did the product description say made to order? No. Did the website say delivery will take a month? No. In the fine print it says "We strive to dispatch within 5 working days in NZ" . Did anyone contact me to tell me that my order would take a little more striving? No. What response did I get? "We miscalculated the turn around on our production side and while they’re making as much footwear as they can, we’re still behind a bit. You’ve been waiting long enough, sorry about that. Are you able to wait until next week?" When I said I'd like to know a delivery date before I decide whether to cancel the order or not I got no reply. So disappointing for a brand that looks so authentic and that I really felt that I wanted to give my money to. I operate an online business. I've operated it all through the pandemic. Delays happen and when they do you reach out to your customers and offer them solutions - not "we're still a bit behind" What that means is you took more orders than you could fulfill and you were not honest with your customers about your capability. You shouldn't sell things you don't have. You should have stopped taking orders until you had caught up. Greed at the influx of orders has made you lose sight of the "commitment" outlined on your website. Go and take a read of it and remind yourself why you're in business. I ordered something on the 29th of November (and got email to say the order was received) but they didn't even process it until the 10th of December. Didn't bother to tell me, only knew because I got an email to say it was being processed now, when I queried this, they said said there was a payment issue at their end. No apology, no offer to refund the shipping fee (even though it would no longer make it to the UK in time for Christmas) and no offer to send it expedited shipping. Really poor service! Arrived 2wks late :(

These folks were so nice and helpful as I planned a purchase halfway across the globe. I was in NZ a few years back and have dear friends there. Since the covid lockdowns, I’ve been longing to travel, so brought the travels to me with unique purchases. I placed an order on Dec 15 and it arrived in Nashville on December 30. :) NZ post parcel tracking was great - better than USPS these days. Anyhoo - the quality is top notch - what I hoped for but not what I expected. I ordered a double rug for our leather couch - for comfort as well as protection from tiny dog nails. It matches better than the picture presents and it’s SO FLUFFY! I also ordered an offcut to see how they ran. Again, excellent quality and not too weird of a cut. The color didn’t work for the room intended but it’s perfect for the doggie. As soon as I laid or down, he was on it and out like a light. He’s been very stressed lately so this is a very good thing! I purchased a smaller rug elsewhere that claimed high pile and quality but it was easily 1/2 the quality of the Sheepskin Factory. I’m already planning my next order.

I got my order today, really happy with it, though I will need to wait for winter camping trips to test the clothing out in the cold. Only complaint is it took over one month to receive in the post, I know things are slower with covid but that should be easing up now, I had spent a lot and was beginning to worry my order was lost in the post / I had been scammed or something (which was not the case)
