We always buy the pancakes and sometimes food as well. We love those fresh and crispy pancakes. We always go to this shop all the way from west Auckland for food. The owner is such a lovely and humble person.Going again today.

Very bad experience. My palagi partner went in to get some island food and the fat lady that was serving him was quiet rude to him. Her service was so annoyingly bad when paying for the food she left the food by her side and never pushed it over to the customer. Please act your age and show some respect for your client. The food is lovely but this lady's attitude was rude. Definitely not coming back here again.

Very disappointed, paid for puddings for Xmas, to pick up at 4pm. I was totally ignored, told so many excuses it hasnt been dropped off yet etc. Gave another half an hr. Spent over 2 hrs waiting. All along they have bagged puddings and giving to there own people in front of me. The day was wasted. Word of advise to the owner, not only yr people purchase from your takeaway. Be respectful of others when your staffs tend to speak in your own language. I picked up a lot of the conversations. Whoever baked the pudding, is the best pudding I've had, hence why I kept going back. Service on Xmas eve, ridiculous. I ask for refund, no apologies.

I only come here for panikeke and lamb buns and there so good. I wish the buns were bigger though and maybe a little less pepper in the buns but it is what it is overall a really good local island food shop

Great renovation to store front and back of house. Clean, welcoming and still reasonable prices for tasty food.
