Visited back in mid October. We stopped here for a quick lunch break while driving up to Luss. It’s a lovely looking farm shop selling lots of supermarket stuff, but probably more of a deli than a supermarket. There’s not many options for hot food, so I only went for a latte and porridge, while my friend wanted to try the much lauded ice cream. There’s actually lots of snack options in the shop, so I suppose I could’ve gotten one instead of the porridge, but it was cold and I kind of wanted something warm. Not much to say about the porridge. It came out of a pre-packed tub where you simply pour water in. Pretty bland, but not really the shop’s fault. The latte was very nice though. The ice cream was a single scoop of shortbread flavour, with actual shortbread embedded. That went down well, creamy, buttery like proper Italian ice cream. The shortbread pieces added interesting texture.
Came here yesterday to pick up some things before heading back home. Good selection of products. Bit pricey but good quality produce. Plenty space for parking. Service was pleasant and quick.
Fabulous farm shop, full of great produce. A must stop shop on the way up or down the loch lomond road. Own farm milk, empire biscuits that melt in the mouth and plenty goodies to take home for tea!
