Auchengree Farm Shop

Fantastic farm shop. Good selection of fresh meat, excellent choice of steaks (more than just a choice of rump or sirloin! ), amazing Sausages! Stuffed chicken breasts, stir-fry mixes. Loads of choice, one of the best fresh meat counters I've been to. Even selling some unusual things like Goat or Crocodile as well as more normal things like Steak Pies, heat at home meals (like lasagna) quiches, pies & pasties etc. Always have a decent selection cheese, and a reasonable selection of fresh veg. They also sell nibbles like cakes, biscuits, oatcakes and the like as well as an impressive selection of jars of pickles, sauces etc and a good selection of flavoured Balsamic vinegars etc... There is also a small gift section. The staff are always very freindly and happy to help. Any time I have asked for somthing, if the don't have it ready they will try to make it for me. Can't recommend it enough! The cafe is also good. Nice food, good hearty portions, decent value for money.

I love this place because they do great food and there is a stables and it has beautiful scenery and I'd say it is great! I'm recommending this place to anybody who likes walking and does not mind getting muddy and a bit dirty! Also it is great for people that have dogs! They are starting a tearoom so anybody who is walking their dogs who happen to have a bit of cash can maybe get some tea and a bit of cake?

Food was amazing and the girls serving were lovely. They could not have been more friendly and helpful. Had a browse through the farm shop after lunch and got some lovely little jams and chutneys to take home. Would definitely go back.

food and staff were lovely, I feel they didnt take enough care in social distancing and weren't cleaning tables enough after people left, they tried to sit us at a table with a person at the next table our chairs would have been touching, they moved us bcz we asked and sat us at a table where everyone was walking past us. We enjoyed eating hear before but was first time since covid, I don't think we will be back till covid is away we did not feel comfortable.

The food was very tasty and the service was very fast. We came in sat down and were handed a menu and were given 5 mins to decide what we wanted which was enough as the menu is pretty small. The portions were amazing they were massive for the price. The food came very fast and pipping hot. I would recommend thia for a quick meal and sizeable portion. It also has a little shop with fresh food and items and gifts.
