As they say in the guide books..... well worth the detour. I've been visiting for over a decade. The cuisine is of a very high standard, fresh and creative. The service is warm and friendly, not pretentious or pushy. The room, an ancient semi cellar is interesting. There are a few steps, so uou'd need to enquire about access.

We have eaten at the Fort on numerous occasions and have always had an excellent meal with fantastic service from the chef Cyril and his wife Sabine. We ate there on New Years Eve 2012/13 and Cyril very kindly offered to taxi us back to our holiday home after his service finished as we were unable to arrange a taxi! This typifies the service that he and his wife provide along with the delicious menus they serve in a beautiful, quaint restaurant.
Tout est réuni ! Cadre, accueil, qualité et beauté du repas. C'est délicieux et magnifique de retrouver encore ce bonheur de bien manger avec un accueil aussi chaleureux. Merci à ce couple qui nous accueille dans leur magnifique auberge !
Très bon restaurant, accueil parfait... Formule du midi au top, je conseille... Et j'ai un encore un excellent souvenir du repas du soir. Nous reviendrons sans hésitation!

Tout parfait, le cadre l'assiette etc. Les patrons super sympas. On y va régulièrement et toujours très très satisfait.
