We had arrived at 2pm and had a short wait as they were rammed - always a good sign. We are 'menu du jour' for 17 and it was excellent with fine ingredients inventively presented and well cooked. A bottle of house red and 3 courses for 42 in excellent decor with good sevice. What's not to like

Gourmet cuisine in a small cosy place at very reasonable price. The owner is very friendly too. A must stop if visiting Narbonne. A stone's throw from the canal and in the historical center.
We live on a motor cruiser in Narbonne port and generally eat on board, we keep visits to restaurants for special occasions, family celebrations, or when travelling we like to sample local cuisine. A friend invited us to the Auberge des Jacobins and we received a very pleasant surprise indeed. The restaurant is spotlessly clean, the staff discreet but efficient, our choice of menu was superbly cooked and presented. Not many people talk about prices, I prefer to inform people so they can make their choice according to their budget. The menu gourmand is Euro 29.50 and incudes delicious large prawn and salad entrée, scallops for the main dish with a choice of deserts, even the pichet of table wine was of excellent quality. If you ever visit Narbonne and wish to treat yourself to a fine meal served in a relaxing atmosphere then look no further. You surely will not be disappointed at the Auberge des Jacobins. I highly recommend it in full confidence that you will, like me, enjoy it. The name incidentally comes from the time of the revolution when a group of Jacobite monks had a monastery nearby, the small street the restaurant is on took its name from there.
Super friendly restaurant - very nice to my toddler daughter Ava (french fries were made especially for her without us asking and she loved it :-)) - food was also excellent (salmon tartare and the café gourmand) - highly recommended
Nous y allons à chaque fois que nous séjournons en vacances dans la région. Nous avons pris le menu du jour : excellent . Merci beaucoup, c'est un plaisir . Nous avons fait la route en vélo de Narbonne plage jusqu'au restaurant car nous voulions encore apprécié leur cuisine et bien sûr nous avons été ravi. Merci pour tout et à l'année prochaine. Ci siamo arrivati quasi per caso, ho anche trovato parcheggio lì vicino, il cibo era buono anche il vino, peccato che anche lì, nonostante il cuoco fosse di origine Calabrese nessuno parlava Italiano. Se è utile metti mi piace.
Excellent. J’ai commandé un filet de bar, accompagné de riz et de légumes. Le goût était là, tout était parfait. Le vin blanc était savoureux et la serveuse très sympathique. Je n’ai pas vraiment aimé le moelleux chocolat blanc, mais ce n’est qu’un détail :p
