Great place. Been going there for years. Staff is amazingly friendly. Need creme brûlée on the menu though

Love this place as it seems to be the best restaurant we know in the area. Menu limited though especially when you have fussy eaters like we do. Can eat outside in the summer. Never tried during lunch time to see if the menu is different. Pleasant staff and they always offer a little something to try after you've ordered your drinks. Beware though...lots of British go there so if you are trying to avoid UK well, not the right place to be!

We had the menu du jour which was very tasty: a rice salad to start then braised ham and pureed potato with a rich gravy. The bread and butter pudding with chocolate and banana was also very good. Had to ask for bread and they were a little slow clearing away plates but the service was friendly. And sitting under the awnings in the middle of the village was very pleasant on a sunny day. Good quality and inexpensive.
