A nice little restaurant serving french food including some not often seen dishes. The host is very friendly and the view and location is nice. The food however is only adequate at best and definitely not value for money as it is on the expensive side for this part of the country.

In the middle of rural France, in the land of Dordogne, such pearl of a restaurant, the Auberge de Jaure, is not to be missed. Not only for its exquisite food, but also for its conviviality, directed by the owner Serge (photo), and his lovely assistant Eléonore, all set in a frame of a classic French interior, and last but not least... a four-courses meal at a great price: 26,- pr person, plus a white Loire Pouilly Fumé at 25,- To Be Recommended !
