Such a lovely local Auberge in the French village of Roppenheim. The food was delicious and service went above and beyond for us. A bit on the pricey side, but definitely worth it.
The best restaurant you can find in Alsace. The owners (Jacqueline and Marc) very friendly and attent, the service really familiar, experienced and professional, the kitchen chef and team super excellent, and the variety and daily suggestions are very good. The quality and the atmosphere is awesome and all of them speak french, german, Alsacien (Elsassisch) and understand english too. I recommend this restaurant if you love beef, fish, desserts, everything is home made and they change the decoration of the restaurant with every season or festivity. Free parking in front of it and good french wines, cremants, licquors, vermouths, champagnes and sparkling wines. You will find the restaurant on the main street of Roppenheim village.

Great French food spot for Germans looking to break the schnitzel routine! No really, it’s a good energy place and I rarely give 5 stars but this is close.
