I picked this place after visiting Omaha Beach earlier on the day. It was time to get a taste of finer local food. Ambiance is relaxed, intimate, staff is very zealous. We tasted a wine of cidre bouchee, a kir normand and a local red wine in a pitcher. For food, foie gras terrine de viande en gelee, salmon wasabi, smoked pork butt medallion with cider sauce, daurade grillee, tarte normande and creme brulee. How good? Very good, great attention to details from the kitchen. It may not be zee best of place for a novice in the culinary world but for someone with an educated palate it is a reat treat and it's affordable. 26 to 36 euros for dinner prix fixe. C etait tres bon! This place is listed in better restaurants, table de France.
If you don't understand French, don't go there. We had to leave because we didn't understand the menu

Wonderful meal, exciting starters, like masterchef.. Succulent chicken and fish, delicious vegetables. Coffee with small deserts to finish, lovely evening. Kind staff too, plus lovely setting. We will be back.
