Delicious but the plates are not tasting style! So full, I would recommend they make them a little smaller. Only one sommelier, which is not great when you have to wait 20 mins just to order wine..

A great surprise we had in Strasbourg. We passed by it and looked interesting, we called and managed to get a reservation. The staff is great, the waiters know when you need something and the sommelier has great suggestions to pair with your food. The food itself was fantastic, well balanced and a great mix of tradition and innovation. Can't wait to go back.

This review has 2 stars only because of more or less nice service, which usually should be the case when you pay 260 euros for dinner in a Michelin restaurant (or a former Michelin restaurant). About the food. We’ve ordered 2 menus of 4 courses, so 2 starters, 2 fish, 2 meat, 2 deserts, which makes it 85% of what the restaurant offers. I’ll go one by one. The octopus was kinda from the tin from Carrefour to me. Fois gras was average, I had one for breakfast for 9 euros and still it was better then Crocodile’s. Tuna was frozen, the tomato garnir was making the dish even worse. Lobster was fine and it’s the only thing that actually tasted almost like it should be. Deer had basically no taste, and the veal to me was more like a pork, not to mention the texture like rubber sole. The deserts were quite average, you can find the same quality or even better in any simple brasserie on the streets of Strasbourg. When I reacted the waiter offered me the shot of schnapps. Overall to me this thing seemed more like a luxurious fraud with a fake smile on a face of the ones who where running the show. So 3 hours of humiliation and spoiled special dinner. I do not know how people are putting fives here, but if you want something special or Michelin like u better stay away from Au Crocodile. The serving is good tho, so u can have nice photos for your instagram.

Excellent execution on every plate. The sauces used in the appetizer and the main course were fantastic, well balanced and smooth. It was great to see that they utilize ingredients that harvest the better during that season in particular. Super charming and very attentive service. Well worth the prize.

A gastronomic delight! Mere words cannot describe this restaurant. (But I’ll try). The service was effortless, the food was delightful beyond our imagination and the wine paring exquisite. Get a table... if you can. A’ bientot
