Excellent place to try the regional Cote de Veau Chamballise. Went here for dinner on suggestion from a friend and glad I did. The decor is a little - too much, but the service and food was amazing. I ordered escargots and the Cote de Veau and the former was good, but the Cote was amazing. It was cooked perfectly well, lightly buttered and seasoned, and full of flavor with a special sauce on top. The bearded chef made a great job on it and would recommend it to everyone. They also have a selection of local wine and beers and best part is that it wasn't crowded when I went.

Classic French eatery with a homie vibe. The menu changes daily and the food is prepared right in front of you, at the bar. Great wines accompany a delicious menu. I wholeheartedly recommend.
We discovered this restaurant by chance, and wish we had found it on previous visits to St Malo. A lovely restaurant in the traditional French style. The food is delicious. We ate here as a family three days ago, and had a great evening. Every dish was superb, including the puddings. Our teenage sons are now fans of real French cuisine. Service was warm and friendly, from a delightful young waiter possibly not much older than my son. Prices were very reasonable. We hope to return .

Wonderful old bar and restaurant with interesting chef patron. Amazing ambiance - of the ancien regime - lovely wine cant wait to return to try the steak. An authentic French restaurant!
