The food was absolutely amazing. Also for what we had was cheap as well. Very nice service and for 30 euro each they give us some small bites and petit fours. Really a good place to eat to.

Welcoming restaurant serving tasty food. It's small, so probably best to make a reservation. On the evening we visited there was a large group of regular customers in and with just one waitress, service was quite slow. The food was good but could have been better. The chef's terrine was excellent. But my main came with plain boiled pasta on the side, which I felt was a bit odd. And my chocolate mousse had some liquid in the bottom - maybe unincorporated egg white? But their heart's are definitely in the right place and if we were locals, we'd go back.

Loved this place - we attacked them with a group of friends and former students, local residents and professors alike. The crew welcomed us with warmth and just the tiniest bit of apprehension as we were not ideally organized in advance. Wonderful evening - ambience tres conviviale - hosts were so welcoming and part of the evening that it was complete magic. Merci beaucoup pour l’acceuil chaleureux - on se sentait entre famille. On attend avec impatience l'occasion d'y retourner!

Amazing local food! Cozy, charming place near Palais des Ducs with high quality, regional dishes. We had the Magret with honey sauce, Poached eggs with morrels in cream, Chicken with brandy-butter cream...and excellent wines at reasonable prices. A hidden gem.

This restaurant is amazing in the way that it servers original, authentic French food. While only run by two staff, the quality of food is incredible. For my starter I had the salad with cheese on toast and honey, the presentation was wonderful and there were no flaws. For my main course, I had the chicken. The sauce was wonderful, both with the chicken and with the provided bread and chips. Finally for dessert, I had the black currant sorbet, presented perfectly, it was truly splendid. I also saw someone have the Tiramisu, and while not standard, it looked like it was very tasty. The service, even though there was only one waitress for the whole restaurant, was very quick and well managed and she was very friendly and helpful with anything on the menu that we didn’t understand. Finally, the environment; Although small, it was not cramped and we seemed to fit in well, it wasn’t old, but it wasn’t overly modern and bright, perfect for an authentic French restaurant. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to you since it is amazing food for a reasonable price, I will certainly be visiting again if I happen to find myself in Dijon.

One of the best restaurants I've tried in France. You have to try the poached eggs, the pork cheek and the cassis ice cream

A cosy little place with friendly service and regional food. Good but not great as a previous reviewer wrote and I don't expect oven chips - but perhaps they have to provide this for the foreign tourists??
