Warning ️ Check your food orders before leaving the shop. I ordered a selection from the menu such as whole tail scampi, got home to find chicken nuggets. Also ordered large cod in batter only to be giving a small cod. The batter was not crispy like it always has been. On their menu they state all fish are served with a slice of fresh lemon. No lemon given with this order. I tried to phone them but they would not answer and when I was in the shop 15 minutes before to order the food there was only 3 customers ordering food, so they couldn't be that busy 15 minutes later in this dark cold winter evening. The service and quality is on the decline. This is sad news as this was once one of the best chip shops in Southampton. I would not recommend this chip shop ️\u200d️ until it changes it's standards, quality and staff to answer the phone and not cut the customer off. At times it is difficult to fined a parking space in the main road out side the shop as this is a busy road. 11.11.20 @ 5.30pm

Athens, Mykonos, Crete?!?! Not exactly... it's Atlantikos, located in St Regis Bal Harbor. This restaurant definitely has a cool relaxing atmosphere with its crisp whites and sharp blues transporting you to Greece. We decided to take a parents day out and went to Atlantikos for their Miami Spice lunch. Since we are both fans of Grilled Octopus, we were both excited to start with that, it was okay but it really wasn't anything to write home about. Later on the waiter brought the bread and tzatziki sauce, which we both really liked... I know I got impressed with the complimentary bread... don't judge me... I asked the waited about drink options and he suggested a Greek Old Fashioned which was good but I probably wouldn't order it again, even though I always order Old Fashioned's. For desert we got the Cherry Almond Tsoureki and Warm Pear Cake which we're both great. I would definitely go back and try some other items, I hear they have a great Sunday brunch and the exterior is really nice especially if you want to venture on to the beach.
Best chips for miles around, not too greasy, not re-cooked thick and fluffy inside. Sausages lovely too .Good price. First time tried last night this will now be our regular. Very good
A victim of their own success. When we first tried this place we were delighted and told everyone.. little extra touches, like a slice of lemon on the fish. It was lovely and fresh, good portions etc.. However, after a few visits, tonight was unsuccessful, due to being given someone else's order that was not remotely like mine! Unfortunately we do not live close by and did not discover this until we got home. So we rang them, they did apologise, saying our order was still sat there but they would do it again fresh. We returned, with the wrong order to pick up our correct order. However, I dont think they did do another fresh batch, as the batter was soggy and stuck to the paper like it had been there awhile..as I said, was good, but needs to keep up those high standards!
Used use a fish and chip shop in yhe centre of southampton but now we have our own and they are very good and friendly food is good the fish has the skin removed which my wife likes
