The building is in a great location, and some aspects of the building are of great quality and good taste. However, after a short period of time, I have begun to question the professionalism, integrity and leadership quality of the property manager. Particularly her effort to try and make the building feel like a prison at times and not know how to effectively deal with conflict. It's clear that certain residents get preferential treatment over others. I would have liked to have known before hand that part of my fees were going to be pooled and dished back out as gifts for only certain residents and not others. Please be aware of this before you consider moving here!

I had the pleasure of staying at a Yoo on the Park in a corporate apartment. It was a completely awesome experience. The apartment home is absolutely beautiful and spacious. And WOW - what a gourmet kitchen! The balcony is perfect for a glass of wine while enjoying the city view. Every member of the staff was very welcoming - I felt right at home instantly. Taco Tuesday - Breakfast on Wednesdays and the other resident events make Yoo on the Park more than an apartment - it's a home. The balcony is a perfect place for a glass of wine while enjoying the city view.

I thought this was going to be a beautiful apartment to lease. I had extensive technical difficulties with the application process, and ended up having to go in person to complete the leasing process. Concierge was very pleasant! I met Keri Norman to complete the application but could feel that I was under a “microscope”. Nonetheless I didn’t want to one person’s passive aggressive bias to deter me. Upon doing the application, I received a request for standard documentation. Submitted everything over for approval only to receive a phone call from my boss advising that Keri had called to verify and hung up on her. Not to mention, she then called me mentioning that I had “active leases” to some random places. I asked for additional clarification only to be rudely shut down and advised I need to make at least “260k in order to afford an apartment there” so she would not be moving forward. At this point I could tell her bias had taken over normalcy for my process so I simply just asked for a refund. I normally don’t even write reviews but in a world as chaotic as this one, I feel it is important to start calling out racial bigots who notice a “nice watch” on you when you are wearing sweatpants and decide to normalize your financial ability to afford living in a nice area. Only for their prejudice to overcome, and deny you simply because they can. If I was not “colored” my experience would have been different. Clarifying questions would have been answered. And my boss, would have never been hung up on. The building may be beautiful but the energy is not ! Shame on you Keri. Normalize checking your prejudice at the door.

Living at YOO on The Park has been one of the best decisions I have taken since moving to Atlanta. The application process was fast and easy. From the first time I spoke with Keri to the day I moved in only 1 WEEK had passed. She was extremely helpful during the leasing process and continues to be a great resource. The building and all the fantastic amenities it offers are amazing, but what really makes Yoo stand out are the people. From Keri and Jennie on the management team, to Terrance and Cedrick at reception, to all the janitorial and maintenance staff, I have never had an experience with any of them where they did not go above and beyond. I love living at YOO and look forward being here for a long time to come.
