Do not use this doctor! As we (my husband, son and I) checked in for my child's appointment, I was informed that only one parent could be in the room. No one told me prior to driving an hour to the office that only one parent could be with our son. I politely asked if they could make an exception, since we both took the day off work to be with our son at this appointment. The woman checking us in said she would ask the doctor. After 20 minutes, a nurse came out and said that Dr Marcus was refusing to see us. I asked why, and she stated that the front desk person told the doctor that I (the mom) was \difficult\ because I had requested both my husband and I to be with my son since the three of were there and didn't know about the rule ahead of time. Dr Marcus made the decision to refuse to see my child because I asked if both parents could be in the room at the same time. We had driven an hour to get to Atlanta, both my husband and I had taken the day off work, and my son had missed school. I begged them to still see him, as he was unable to eat for two days - his throat had closed up from his illness, and it was difficult to get an appointment with a specialist. I even offered to stay in the waiting room at that point. They said we needed to leave, and they would not even let my child speak with the doctor. My poor child was just sitting there in the corner of the waiting room, his head against the wall, in pain and very hungry. The ego of this physician and lack of care should be a warning to anyone going to see Dr. Marcus or visiting the uncaring nursing staff/front desk employees at this practice. My child ended up in the emergency room that afternoon, and was immediately admitted. I am therefore warning other families in the hopes that they can prevent a similar tragedy for their child.

Very pleased with our experience. He seemed to know what he was talking about and gave us thorough explanation of everything. We was 45 minutes late to our appointment because of a wreck on the interstate an they were still able to see us without a long wait time.

We went to Dr. Seth Marcus with our 4 month old this morning and Dr. Marcus could not have been more patient, more sweet or more reassuring. I went in anxious and came out feeling so relieved and that we had a good plan. Highly recommend!

The Potter Family takes Disney!

Dr. Marcus is great! I would drive across the country to see him for my son. We did drive over two hours but he figured everything out. His bedside manner was great and he really cared about my child! I highly recommend him!
