The new parking deck and field are gorgeous. Grant Park is such an idyllic area, and it’s a great place to get outside and relax for a bit. I’m glad there’s so much more parking here now.

Love my neighborhood park. It's the oldest park in Atlanta. It's clean and beautiful. They are always improving and restoring it. It's also entertaining to walk around and hear the lions roaring sometimes. The parking deck is a new addition and it's beautiful and they incorporated green space. We love to take a blanket and find a sunny spot to experience nature and people watch. Also, I recommend that you visit the Cafe across the street from the zoo for a delicious latte, coffee, or cake loaf slice.

For my last day in the deep south before going back to the south-west from Atlanta Hartsfield Jackson via Seattle, my amazing wife and I decided to do nearly 2 miles worth of walk round this beautiful park. I can see why many Atlantans are so in love with this open space, because it is absolutely VAST! It helped to calm my nerves before the flight, I felt really good, the weather was a balmy 61 and it was so beautiful. Thank you Georgia & Atlanta for your slice of southern hospitality and warmth. It was also amazing that from Level 4 of the parking lot, you get a bird's-eye view of the elephant enclosure at Zoo Atlanta for absolutely no cost.

We came here today to get some fresh air and kill some time before our flight. I was able to walk for 2 miles and enjoy the park. There were not many people there and it is paved if you are a runner and prefer pavement or pushing a stroller. We do not have kids, but there are plenty of play areas to keep little ones occupied. We were unsure of where to park, so we just parked in the parking garage for the zoo. Make sure you take your ticket like at the airport so you can pay at the machine before you leave. The absolute BEST part of the park is if you go up the steps to the top of the parking garage, you can see the elephant in the zoo if she is strolling about her enclosure. That was a pleasant surprise and nice to see the caregivers feeding her and interacting with her. She looked super happy and was eager to interact. This is a great option for some fresh air and to get some steps in. We had an awesome time.

Gorgeous park situated in the heart of Atlanta, home to a public pool and Zoo Atlanta. Historical fountains accent the beautiful paths used by pedestrians and cyclists alike. Take a stroll through the park, and if you see me, don't hesitate to say hello!
