We're from out of town and went in not knowing they were closing in 15 minutes. They insisted we stay, which was very kind of them. The service was super fast and everything we ordered was excellent. We would definitely eat here again and recommend it to others.

Folk Art Restaurant is really a gem. I ordered the Folk Southern Fried which is a biscuit topped with fry chicken breast, scrambled eggs, and a sausage gravy. I also got a side of grits (it had corn pieces in it; it’s intended to be that way) topped with melted cheese. My girlfriend had The Complete Breakfast with the in house strawberry jam. The food was the amazing and the waiter was very attentive. Because it was during brunch hours, it was about an hour wait but I think we were seated before the hour passed. I choose to give four out of five stars because the restaurant closed at three instead of their regular time. The closing hours was not my issue. My issue was that many people came after the closing hour and was turned away by one of the waitress (even a father with his small daughter that looked about six or seven years old). However, when a group of guys showed up that she seemed to be familiar with, she granted them access to a table. They entered and were seated in the restaurant with no mask and at no point were they told to put on their masks even though it was hanging from their ears. My girlfriend and I had to enter with our mask and wasn’t allowed to take them off until our food got to us. I didn’t like that.

Was looking for brunch places after work today. We went here and the food was delicious cooked to perfection. Staff was friendly and prompted. 5 more stars for the social distance setup. The host made sure the guest wore their mask correct, not like chin straps! Good music and great place to eat!

Really great vibes- cozy and industrial interior. Service was awesome, staff was friendly, and the food was delicious (though portions are a bit small, especially for the appetizers it would seem.) The Chicken Waffles dish's chicken was a little bit dry but otherwise perfect. Would get again.
