Atlanta Botanical is well kept, even during winter. The orchids section opens really late, which is unfortunate if you have other plans when visiting Atlanta. The staff in the entry doesn't know that the botanical is open on the Monday we visited...at first we got worried since there was a big sign saying that they were closed, their website says otherwise and was open that day. The gift shop was great with very friendly staff.

Are you looking for an amazing experience looking at nature? What about Christmas lights? How about spending some quality time with your family and friends? Do you like Christmas lights that have music and a variety of colors? I know I do. Let's not forget all the kinds of Christmas lights this place offers. Coming to the Atlanta Botanical Garden during the winter time is an absolute MUST. You DO NOT want to MISS it. Due to the virus, the employees are placed around the Garden with, \KEEP MASKS ON!\ I recommend coming here with your whole family but don't forget the friends either.

I really enjoy everything the botanical gardens has to offer. It can get a bit pricey, so consider a membership, if you will go during the day and on weekdays often. It is all about the experience and a stroll in a beautiful atmosphere. The highlight is the holiday lights each November-January. During Covid, you will have to purchase timed tickets online and wear a mask to enter the gardens. They have all the safety protocols in place and do a great job with customer service. Also, Halloween is perfect to take the kids in their costumes, especially if not trick or treating. The gardens has concerts, evening events throughout the year, and a really nice restaurant with outdoor dinning and heaters. The snack huts offer a variety of neat items, sandwiches, wine, beverages, cotton candy, and awesome kettle corn! If you have kids that get messy, I would recommend waiting towards the end of your visit to grab snacks. There is socially distanced tables with seating near each of the food spots, if you wish to sit down and take your time eating. The Atlanta Botanical Garden is a fun place for families, groups, singles, and a romantic spot for a couple to enjoy as well.

Its a beautiful place to relax. Went with my 6 year old and she loved the children's garden and the activities in the garden. What blew my head off was the edible garden, what an inspiration to start growing my own veggies at home

Amazingly beautiful displays of so many different kinds of plants from native to international this place does not disappoint! Visited just before Christmas 2020 and was treated to some of the Alice in Wonderland exhibits that were totally fantastic! Unfortunately we were not there for the Nights of Lights but from what we could see during daylight hours I'm sure it was incredible. The Christmas Village with Trains was so cute and delightful to find the Elves and other treats. The Poinsettia tree was gorgeous. Plan to spend the entire day to see everything! Very handicap friendly with plenty of room for walkers, wheelchairs, and strollers.
