Impressive Greek Orthodox church that dominates the center of Kolonaki. It is dedicated to the patron saint of Athens, Saint Dionisios. The interior iconography was made by a famous painter. It was built between 1925 - 1931 and was designed by the architect Anastasios Orlandos. Many of the religious objects have been donated by rich Athenians. Worth a visit.

A beautiful hidden gem in the centre of Athens. Its a shame the surrounding area suffocates it and destroys much of it's charm. If it wasn't overshadowed by ugly buildings it could have been on par with the sacré cœur
