One of the biggest- if not the biggest church in Athens, located in one of the most central avenues in Athens, Acharnon Ave. A decade ago it used to be easily accessible to pray, but now because of... strange people, you cannot enter the church without having a cultural shock. The area, that also used to be a great area, now is way below than downgraded, and not recommended for even visiting. Otherwise, this church is a true gem, and hopefully it will become better, especially for visitors in the near future. One can hope.

Great architecture with awesome restaurants around. There is a fountain as well in front of the place but was not well maintained.

It is quite big, spacious and that's why especially the interior is really impressive.
