Athelas Plants

Very disappointing. I had gone out of my way to return to Athelas Plants because it seemed such a good place. I purchased two large Camelias for my balcony. One dark pink and one light pink. The light pink was struggling from the start. When I contacted Athelas they blamed me for letting the plants sit in as they put it 'saucers' ???. I had gone to great lengths to explain that they were for the balcony. The plant just got worse and now I've got an empty pot on one side. If it was something I had done incorrectly surely both would have died?. I spent 110 for this. Awful after sales service. There are better garden centres around. I will not be going back.

Paid our first ever visit today, despite living nearby, lovely, spacious and well stocked nursery, excellent prices and quality, came away with a lot of plants and plenty of helpful advice. Certainly going back. (after planting this lot!)

Love this place so much. If I want to treat myself I always come here and pick myself some plants. Ive bought plants from here for a few years now and every single one has grown amazingly well. Top quality and Sarah is just lovely and helpful.

Absolutely love this place. Amazing selection of unusual, exotic and more mature plants in a great location at very reasonable prices.The staff are so nice, helpful and knowledgeable, always happy to help and give advice without rushing you. This place should be at the top of anyone's list when buying plants, a hidden gem in the Sussex countryside!

Beautiful selection of exotic plants. Very large range on display at reasonable prices. Good knowledge of everything horticultural and very helpful.
