Matelassier Tapissier a typical building is located in Atelier des encres, Lyon. In the vicinity of this village is the Beaujolais Vineyard. A tour of this vineyard was very interesting. The owner and producer of the Beaujolais wine informed us this is a family business from growing of the Chardonnay and Gamay grapes to the production and bottling of the Beaujolais wine. He gave an interesting \lesson\ in French translated into English by the tour guide, on how to look after the grape vines. The vineyard stretched over rolling hills of green, a very picturesque sight. The tour proceeded to the wine cellar for the tasting of the different varieties of Beaujolais wine. There was a difference in taste and flavour of the wine macerated in oak barrels and the wine macerated in cement containers. This tour is highly recommended for those interested in wine and wine tasting.
