Astral Lodge Residential Care Home

Mum has dementia and was welcomed and helped to adjust to living away from home in a kindly and professional way. She has settled in well and seems to now be enjoying living there. We were pleased to see videos of her birthday celebrations and also a sing song she was involved in. a lovely touch. Mum seems to be well-looked after, stimulated and happy. The staff seem to be very nice.

My Auntie moved into Astral Lodge a couple of weeks before lockdown. Jane and the Care Team were always very accommodating. They cared very well for my Auntie and kept us up to date with any progress. They included her in all the activities which she really enjoyed. I certainly would not hesitate to recommend Astral Lodge Care Home. So thankful and grateful how they have taken care of my Auntie. She is very fond of them all. Thanks always to Jane and the Care Team - you do a great job!!

Jane and the care staff at Astral Lodge residential home are wonderful caring people that have a heart of gold. Mum moved into Astral Lodge, just before lockdown and Mum is so happy and loves the singalongs at Astral Lodge. The level of care and support is exemplary in all areas. Astral Lodge is always filled with laughter, happiness and smiles. Nothing is too much trouble and they give family members, support and assistance at all times. Jane and her amazing team looked after mum on a couple of occasions for respite care. They couldn't do enough for her and made her feel so welcome, I knew she was safe there and they would look after her, which gave me peace of mind and allowed me to have a break. I would 100% recommend Astral Lodge.

My mother has been in Astral Lodge for just under a year now and seems to be happy in the home. I would like to thank Jane and the staff for the care they are giving my mother at the age of 93. Hopefully i will be able to start visiting her again soon.
