I visited Aston University for 3 months and I really enjoyed it. The people are very nice and friendly. It has an international atmosphere. Lecturers are very good. The campus is beautiful, especially the lake and the birds. The location of university is great, it's close to city centre.
Takes Covid-19 restrictions very seriously. Unfortunately, you do have to sometimes walk down long corridors and open about 15 doors to get to your session (depending on which floor you are.) and touching so many door handles is very dangerous in terms of Covid. But cleaners can be seen around the corridors on a regular basis.
Good culture, great University and great people. However, please avoid Dr Rowan Hardy (Endocrinology, University of Birmingham) who conducted academic misconduct.
