Wow! My new favourite place in Paris! I have heard about Astier for many years and finally had the chance to try it. As it’s most famous for the cheese plate, I was curious to see if the other courses would be good. My expectations were exceeded tremendously. My guest had arrived later than expected and the staff at Astier were very patient and extremely nice. I have never experienced such great customer service in Paris. The food was incredibly good, flavours complex but balanced. The service was quick and attentive. Astier is my new favourite and go to restaurant that I’m sure I will come back with friends and family many times. It is pricey compared with other french bistros but honestly the quality of the restaurant matches the price point. I highly recommend!

Despite the great things we heard about the particular restaurant we were somehow disappointed. Food quality was quite good but the taste didn't live up to our expectations. Moreover we had serious issues with communication. We couldn't get the correct orders. Nevertheless the waiter was very polite and willing to serve us. Prices are high as well.
Excellent dinner choice... a bit limited & pricy for lunch The food is well prepared & the service is top notch. The space is compact but very inviting. We enjoyed the wine & the food choices. Oh la la! Very typical bistro in Paris where you will find the real French experience. Food was AMAZING! Make sure you ask for the sufle. Lamb was great as well.
