My name is TJ Phillips and I was a resident at kv from 1990 until 1992. My experience there really prepared me for my future. Things that I was taught there by staff who honestly cared about me is still instilled in me to this day. I was a child who went here... this review is hard for me because it brings up a lot of conflicting feelings. I was here for years. I was an out-of-control child with severe abuse that reflected in my day-to-day life. I thought this place was a joke all the way up until the day I left. My family hated it because of the contact restrictions. But coming from somebody who was forced through this program has helped me in ways I’ll never be able to explain. They don’t do it in ways that you see the progress. They break you as a person and give you building blocks to rebuild you into a better person. It takes taking away the child’s broken life template and giving them a new one.. I was in the Allimang house ( I don’t know if I spelled that right it’s been years ) I was a very severe case and if they could help me they could help your child too! Today I have two brilliant children I manage two stores as a medical consultant. I am drug-free And a couple months away from my bachelors degree in small business management with a specialization of entrepreneurship. Find me on Facebook if you want to know more.
