You might be thinking “this is just your typical tourist trap kinda place.” That’s what I assumed. I was way off. My kids had so much fun, lathe prices were very reasonable, and we walked away with tons of cool minerals and great memories. Thanks for a great experience!

Very friendly staff. The kids enjoyed the gem mining and found an array of stones. The cafe food was very good. Had the BLT and it was delicious.
Absolutely loved this place! Super fun for the kids and adults, and the owner (I presume) is adorable and cheeky. We found so many stones, including a large Amethyst and rough ruby. We did two of the “mother load” buckets. Very fun experience and wonderful memories. Thank you!!
This was one of the best experiences of all of our vacation. The owner was very nice and helpful. The kids were beyond excited to find bags of gems. Usually when you go to a mining company you are lucky to find one. My kids found 2 bags full. They felt like they hit the jackpot and we felt the same way. If you are in the blue ridge area this is a must do!
Great place. Better than lilly pad village. Ron did a great job with my son.
